Youll enjoy a set weekly schedule from 8:45 am 3:45 pm, with up to 37.5 hours per week, and the flexibility to discuss your specific school assignments or caseload preferences.
Your expertise will be key in fostering both academic and emotional growth, working collaboratively with staff and families to ensure each student thrives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Virginia School Psychologist License required
- Strong background in administering psychological assessments and diagnostic testing
- Experience in behavior modification, individual/group therapy, and progress monitoring
- Comfortable navigating conversations with parents and multidisciplinary staff
- Excellent organizational and report-writing skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
- Recommend evidence-based interventions to help students reach their full academic and personal potential
- Offer therapeutic support through individual or group modalities
- Assist in identifying, placing, and advocating for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement behavior modification strategies in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed records; provide timely progress summaries
- Foster open communication with stakeholders to support student success
