Put your expertise to work in a dynamic educational setting as a School Psychologist supporting students and staff for the academic year through June 6, 2025. With a schedule running from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm and a total of 37.5 hours per week, youll play an essential role in helping students succeed both academically and emotionally. Qualifications:

• Active Virginia School Psychologist License
• Background in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic examinations
• Experience in facilitating behavior modification strategies and interventions
• Capability to perform individual and group therapy sessions
• Proficiency in collaborating with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills, including maintaining detailed records and progress reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students to identify behavioral, emotional, and academic needs
• Recommend evidence-based interventions to maximize student learning outcomes
• Participate in the identification and placement process for students requiring specialized services
• Conduct individual or group counseling sessions to address a variety of psychological needs
• Collaborate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success
• Implement and monitor behavior modification plans
• Ensure all records, reports, and documentation meet regulatory and ethical standards
