Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Current and valid New Mexico school psychologist license
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals
• Experience conducting assessments and providing evidence-based interventions
• Familiarity with both individual and group counseling techniques
• Knowledge of special education processes and multi-tiered support systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students strengths and needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
• Participate in the creation and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Advise and support teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies for success
• Facilitate crisis intervention and collaborate with staff to promote a safe and positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead or assist professional development activities focused on mental health and learning
