Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
- Valid New Mexico School Psychologist license (must be current)
- Proven experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment skills
- Ability to create individualized plans that support diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Participate as a key member of multidisciplinary teams to help determine eligibility for special education services
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to address learning and behavioral needs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students
- Develop evidence-based strategies to promote academic and social success
- Present findings, recommendations, and guidance to support students educational journeys
- Support crisis intervention efforts and assist in behavior management planning
