Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
  • Valid New Mexico School Psychologist license (must be current)
  • Proven experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment skills
  • Ability to create individualized plans that support diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Participate as a key member of multidisciplinary teams to help determine eligibility for special education services
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff to address learning and behavioral needs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students
  • Develop evidence-based strategies to promote academic and social success
  • Present findings, recommendations, and guidance to support students educational journeys
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and assist in behavior management planning
