Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) License required
- Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration
- Effective communicator, with the ability to connect compassionately with students, parents, and educators
- Proficient in developing education plans and providing counseling services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
- Provide direct support and interventions to students, addressing behavioral and mental health concerns
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized education programs
- Consult with teachers regarding classroom management and instructional techniques
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing specialized knowledge to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality in all interactions
