Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity impacting the lives of students along the scenic Southeast Florida Coast! This contract position is ideal for licensed School Psychologists ready to support young learners across three dynamic campuses. Your expertise will guide students at Ft. Pierce, Westwood Pre-K, and Northport K8, ensuring they receive the care and counseling necessary for their success.

This on-site role begins August 5, 2026, and runs through June 1, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Monday through Friday). You'll work alongside passionate educators and administrators focused on fostering student growth throughout the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Psychologist licensure (Department of Health)
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred
  • Familiarity with K-8 student populations and a range of developmental needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to perform assessments, participate in meetings, and provide direct counseling
  • Fingerprinting required; may use existing DOH prints

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and eligibility testing
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling services for individual students and small groups
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student well-being
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
