Job Description

Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students as a part-time, in-person school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and impact students growth and wellbeing in a welcoming school community.

As a valued specialist during the school year (August 31, 2026 June 16, 2027), youll provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments and consultative support, on a flexible .5 (half-time) basis. Your expertise will help shape educational success plans and foster inclusive, supportive environments for diverse student populations.

What Were Looking For:

  • Current, active Washington state license as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills with K-12 students
  • Committed to in-person work; virtual/remote applicants will not be considered
  • Skilled communicator and compassionate listener with a student-centered focus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to develop student support plans
  • Facilitate and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and social-emotional support as needed
  • Promote positive behavioral strategies and inclusive classroom practices
