Job Description

A full-time contract position is available for a School Psychologist serving K-12 students in a Michigan school district from August 25, 2025, through June 4, 2026. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological services across assigned schools with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and training staff on a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to enhance student outcomes.
  • Assisting in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), developing positive behavior support plans, and continuously evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Participating in professional development activities within the Intermediate School District (ISD) and Local Education Agency (LEA), including researching, designing, and delivering training programs, as well as coordinating with community organizations.
  • Supporting assessment processes such as benchmark screenings, progress monitoring, diagnostic evaluations, observational assessments, updating local norms, and facilitating data analysis.

Qualifications sought:

  • Full licensure as a Psychologist from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA); preliminary certification candidates will also be considered.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with para-professionals, RBTs, or nursing staff who may provide supervision support.
