Job Description

This onsite, full-time contract position (40 hours/week) offers the opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families, and be a vital member of multidisciplinary teams committed to student success. Youll play a crucial role in assessing educational needs, developing targeted support plans, and helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Nebraska School Psychologist license (required)
  • Previous experience supporting K-12 students (preferred)
  • Expertise in psychological assessment and report interpretation
  • Understanding of Special Education policies and eligibility processes
  • Strong skills in behavioral and academic intervention planning
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (IEP, crisis response, intervention teams)
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support the identification of educational disabilities
  • Participate actively as a member of the schools Multidisciplinary and Intervention Teams
  • Help design and implement behavior and academic intervention plans for students
  • Provide counseling and crisis support to students as needed
  • Serve as a resource for staff, families, and administration in addressing student needs
  • Support district safety, crisis response, and building-based teams
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
