Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current certification or licensure as required by the state
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to create a positive, supportive rapport with students, parents, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to guide eligibility and intervention planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized programs
- Deliver direct and consultative psychological services, including counseling and crisis intervention
- Facilitate individual and group interventions targeting academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional needs
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support students well-being and learning goals
- Participate in IEP and 504 plan development, reviews, and meetings
- Use data-informed decision making and adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards
