Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Current and valid state licensure to practice as a school psychologist
  • Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, RTI/MTSS processes, and special education eligibility requirements
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to culturally responsive practice and fostering inclusivity

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Develop individualized education plans and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis management as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Help design prevention and early intervention services targeting social-emotional needs
  • Support compliance with federal and state regulations regarding special education
