A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in an educational setting located in Plano, TX. This role involves working within a school environment to support student mental health, learning, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust services accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Appropriate state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage case loads effectively and adhere to contractual requirements.
