Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Bilingual School Psychologist/Licensed Specialist in School Psychology in an engaging, full-time contract role serving multiple school sites near Plano, TX. This position plays a pivotal part in the educational experience of students from early childhood through 12th grade, working closely with diverse students and staff to support comprehensive educational and psychological services. Spanish and English fluency is essentialyour language skills will help bridge communication and boost student success across a variety of age groups.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential (Board of Examiners of Psychologists)
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability for itinerant assignments across multiple campuses
  • Ability to complete Texas Education Agency fingerprinting if not previously done for another public school district

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological and educational services to students from early childhood (ages 35) through 12th grade
  • Complete psychological evaluations and contribute to the development of student support plans
  • Attend ARD meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage a caseload averaging 9 students per month
  • Deliver assessments and interventions in both English and Spanish as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with staff, families, and students in diverse school environments

This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, with an impactful schedule that follows the academic calendar from August to early June.
