A school district in Plainfield, IL, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support their educational team on a contract basis. This role involves working directly within the school environment to assess and address students' psychological and educational needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological and developmental assessments for students
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administration to develop individual education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting evaluations and providing school-based psychological services
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
