Job Description

A position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide support for K-12 students in a school setting. This contract role is based in Plainfield, IL, with a caseload of approximately 40-50 students spanning elementary to high school age groups. The role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, five days per week, aligned with the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to address student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Current license through the State Board as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with elementary and high school students
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload of 40-50 students effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with educational and psychological assessment tools
