Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience performing psychological and educational assessments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Interpret assessment results to support the creation of effective educational plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop tailored interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student support
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Promote positive mental health and help create a supportive, inclusive school culture
