Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention
  • Strong knowledge of special education regulations and RTI/MTSS frameworks
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to maintain detailed and timely records
  • Flexibility to work with varying age groups and adapt to evolving caseload needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administration, and parents on eligibility and support plans
  • Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Deliver direct counseling services and crisis interventions as needed
  • Consult with school teams on best practices to support positive student outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and prepare reports for meetings and compliance
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insight on mental health and learning concerns
