Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid Arizona school psychologist license
- Fingerprint IVP clearance card
- Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school populations
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop tailored interventions and supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver counseling and behavioral support services, both one-on-one and in groups
- Assist with crisis intervention and the development of preventative programs
- Promote a positive, inclusive school climate where all students feel supported
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
