Qualifications:
- Hold a Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current and valid Arizona School Psychologist license
- Possess a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse populations
- Ability to implement a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Knowledgeable about state educational guidelines and best practices for student support services
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and monitor individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Offer consultation and counseling to students, teachers, and parents
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and RTI/MTSS meetings
- Advocate for students mental health and academic progress
- Deliver crisis intervention as needed and provide staff training on behavioral and academic supports
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
