A full-time contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist in the Phoenix, AZ area with assignments in multiple schools. This position offers a dynamic caseload with approximately 60 students, including evaluations averaging around 12 per day. Candidates will work with elementary and junior high students in a supportive school environment that utilizes Google Suite and Synergy platforms. Familiarity with these tools is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Provide support and intervention services based on evaluation results
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Manage a caseload that may vary by assignment, including both fixed and floating roles across multiple school locations
- Maintain compliance with district policies and documentation standards
- Support students from elementary through junior high levels across assigned schools
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Arizona DOE Certification with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement
- Possess a valid IVP Fingerprint Card
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage workload and be a proactive problem solver
- Experience with paper-based evaluations and comfort with the use of technology platforms such as Google Suite and Synergy
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but new professionals with 0-2 years of experience are welcome
Location: Positions are based in the Phoenix area, with assignments at Stephenson Elementary, Mesa Academy, Adams Elementary, and Taylor Junior High.
This role is not eligible for virtual work and requires physical presence at assigned schools. The contract runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026.
