Job Description

In this role, youll focus on conducting evaluationsprimarily in the areas of Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)while contributing valuable, data-driven insights during monthly assessment meetings and district special education discussions. ARD meetings are led by experienced facilitators and are typically held virtually, allowing you to dedicate more time to assessment, consultation, and intervention work. Youll also play an active role in Student Support Team (SST) meetings, helping review student data and determine when special education referrals are appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
  • Strong skills in administering and interpreting AU, ED, and FBA assessments
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-informed decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills when working with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Participate in monthly assessment meetings and district-wide special education discussions
  • Collaborate with SST teams to identify students who may require special education services
  • Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families, offering strategies and support
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and timely documentation in line with district standards
