Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and writing clear reports
- Strong ability to facilitate counseling and group/individual interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, caregivers, and staff
- Familiarity with special education laws, compliance requirements, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and interventions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative counseling services to students
- Advise and support teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and evidence-based strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting to meet district and legal standards
- Promote positive behavioral supports and help foster an inclusive, supportive school climate
