Job Description

A school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support their educational team in Peyton, CO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students to assess psychological needs, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic or emotional challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute psychological expertise
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
  • Experience conducting educational and psychological evaluations in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and mental health issues in children
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations regarding special education
