Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or appropriate licensure
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for working closely with students, staff, and families
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards within schools
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on interventions and recommendations
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and develop targeted student support plans
- Communicate findings and strategies to staff and families in accessible, supportive language
- Provide crisis response and consultative support to educators
- Promote mental health awareness and positive school culture through ongoing training and education
