Job Description

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for two skilled School Psychologists to support a K-12 school located in Peyton, CO. This position involves providing comprehensive services including conducting evaluations and delivering direct support to students within a single school site in the Colorado Springs area. The role runs from ASAP through May 28, 2026, with a full-time 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic success
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust supports as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and legal requirements

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and data interpretation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education services
