Youll support students in elementary, middle, and high school settings, providing crucial mental health and academic guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active school psychologist licensure valid in the state is required.
- Prior school-based experience in K-12 environments strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP/504 processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, faculty, and families.
- Adaptability to work with diverse student populations across all grade levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results to help develop intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to foster positive educational outcomes.
- Provide counseling and direct support to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in eligibility, goals, and program development.
