Seeking an experienced school psychologist for a contract position serving high school students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. This role supports a dynamic learning environment in a high school setting near Peoria, IL, engaging with students, staff, and families to promote academic and social-emotional well-being for the remainder of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychology endorsement required
- Previous experience in Illinois schools strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a high school caseload and provide school psychology services
- Experience or willingness to provide individual or small group counseling as needed
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish considered a plus
- Familiarity with high school systems and multitasking across grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide psychoeducational evaluations for students in 10th through 12th grades
- Deliver data-driven recommendations and consultation to teachers, staff, and families
- Support the development, implementation, and progress monitoring of IEPs for students
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers as an active member of multidisciplinary teams
- Provide counseling services to students, addressing behavioral or emotional concerns as assigned
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
