Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist license
  • Current fingerprint IVP card
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and assessment skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students across grade levels
  • Interpret assessment results and provide professional recommendations for educational planning
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support as needed
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers regarding behavioral and learning challenges
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Support district initiatives related to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
