Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist during the upcoming academic year. This contract position spans August 3, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offering you the chance to make a real difference onsite across a district-wide setting near Pendleton, IN. With two openings available, you'll collaborate with fellow professionals to provide direct support and guidance, ensuring every student has the best opportunity to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience working with K-12 populations in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), special education assessments, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills to manage varying caseloads and effectively handle reporting/documentation
- Adaptability and commitment to a diverse school environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as required
- Monitor student progress and update individualized plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
Enjoy a consistent schedule of either 8:50-3:30 or 7:30-2:20, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours weekly. Caseload assignments will adapt to the district's evolving needs across onsite locations.
