Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience working within Illinois schools is highly preferred
  • Certification in School Psychology
  • Ability to manage high school caseloadsgrades 10 through 12
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish are a strong advantage
  • Exceptional communication, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Comfort with counseling duties as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide recommendations for student success
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop student intervention strategies
  • Support educational planning, including IEP and 504 Plan development
  • Deliver individual or group counseling when appropriate
  • Assist in crisis intervention and promote mental wellness across the school community
  • Document and report findings in compliance with Illinois state regulations
