Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working within Illinois schools is highly preferred
- Certification in School Psychology
- Ability to manage high school caseloadsgrades 10 through 12
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish are a strong advantage
- Exceptional communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Comfort with counseling duties as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and provide recommendations for student success
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop student intervention strategies
- Support educational planning, including IEP and 504 Plan development
- Deliver individual or group counseling when appropriate
- Assist in crisis intervention and promote mental wellness across the school community
- Document and report findings in compliance with Illinois state regulations
