An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support a high school caseload serving 10th through 12th grades. This contract role involves working within an Illinois high school environment, providing psychological services and occasional counseling. The position is based in the Pekin, IL area and extends through the remainder of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students in grades 10-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services as needed to support student well-being.
- Interpret and communicate assessment results to stakeholders.
- Maintain organized case documentation and comply with state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology endorsement is required.
- Previous experience working in Illinois schools is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage a full high school caseload effectively.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a significant plus, enabling better support for diverse student populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with school teams.
