Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas
• Experience conducting assessments and writing comprehensive reports
• Strong knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and special education law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and students
• Skilled in developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adaptability to diverse student populations and school environments

Position Responsibilities:

• Administer psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments
• Interpret data and provide recommendations to support students educational progress
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, including crisis intervention if needed
• Support teams with functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
• Contribute to eligibility determination and IEP meetings
• Document and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with federal and state guidelines
