Desired Skills and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience administering psychological assessments and educational evaluations
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong proficiency with developing and implementing behavior intervention and support plans
- Commitment to promoting students social, emotional, and academic well-being
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Interpret data and help design individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Offer counseling and intervention strategies for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and support staff to address students diverse needs
- Lead or participate in crisis response teams as needed
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Provide professional development and guidance for educational teams regarding mental health topics
