Key Qualifications:
- Current valid School Psychologist credential in Rhode Island
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary and middle school students
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students learning and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to foster optimal learning environments
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student development and emotional wellness
- Participate in intervention and crisis response as needed, contributing to a positive school culture
