Job Description

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active School Psychologist certification (state and national credentialing preferred)
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and interpreting data
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and support a range of socio-emotional needs

Responsibilities:

  • Perform individual psycho-educational assessments and evaluations
  • Develop, interpret, and help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support for students as needed
  • Offer guidance and training for staff on behavior management, academic interventions, and mental health awareness
  • Maintain documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
