Step into a vital role supporting students social, emotional, and academic development as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time schedules, beginning in late August 2026 and concluding in mid-June 2027, in a vibrant school setting. Caseloads and specific responsibilities will be tailored based on need, providing flexibility and a chance to leverage your experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current School Psychologist license, meeting all state requirements for practice
- Previous experience working with diverse student populations in a school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Dedicated to fostering positive student outcomes and inclusive learning environments
- Willingness and ability to work fully on-site throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and behavioral interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, consult with multidisciplinary teams, and develop student support plans
- Deliver direct counseling and support to students individually and in groups
- Work closely with educators and administrators to promote whole-school wellbeing initiatives
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records in accordance with regulations and school policy
