Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting multiple schools with a diverse group of students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Located near Pawnee City, NE, this full-time assignment spans the entire upcoming school year (26/27 SY), offering the advantage of a 4-day work week for excellent work-life balance.
As a valued member of a multidisciplinary educational team, you'll provide expert services for students with mild to moderate disabilities, helping to foster academic, social, and emotional well-being. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating supportive learning environments and ensuring all students receive the individualized care they need to succeed.
Qualifications were seeking:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Nebraska School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working in K-12 settings preferred
- Familiarity with assessments, IEP development, and behavioral intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and supporting students of varying backgrounds
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Contributing to multidisciplinary evaluation teams and participating in IEP meetings
- Delivering counseling, intervention, and crisis support services
- Consulting with educators and families on strategies for supporting student success
- Maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with district and state policies
