Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Englewood, NJ, covering maternity leave from November 2025 through April 2026. This 37.5 hours per week contract position offers a chance to support student mental health and educational development within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning needs and disabilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and counselors to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and interventions to support students social and emotional well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
