Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience within school settings preferred
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing direct and consultative services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, educators, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for referred students, interpreting results to inform individualized educational programming
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and other student support plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation to promote student wellbeing and positive learning outcomes
- Offer guidance and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success academically, socially, and emotionally
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and district protocols
