Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students in the Papillion, NE area as a School Psychologist during the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite in a collaborative, resource-rich environment. Youll provide essential psychological services, guidance, and advocacy for young learners, helping them access the support they need for academic and emotional success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure in Nebraska
  • Strong experience with elementary student populations preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, data interpretation, behavioral intervention, and counseling
  • Familiarity with educational evaluations, individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological services including assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies for elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support individual student needs and school-wide initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Conduct and interpret behavioral and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise for child study and response-to-intervention (RTI) processes
  • Advocate for student mental health and learning accommodations within the school setting
