This position runs a standard Monday through Friday schedule with 37.5 hours weekly, allowing you to engage regularly with students and faculty. Desired skills and experience:
- Valid IL PEL School Psychology credential required
- Experience working with K-8 populations preferred
- Strong background in counseling and psychoeducational assessments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced educational environment
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students in need
- Perform academic and behavioral assessments and interpret the results
- Develop, monitor, and support intervention strategies and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, families, and administrators to promote students academic, social, and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district standards
