Job Description

Step into an impactful school-based position supporting elementary, middle, and high school students in a close-knit educational community near Pahrump, NV. As a School Psychologist on a contract basis, your expertise will foster the academic, emotional, and social development of students across multiple age groups. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families to create positive and supportive learning environments for all.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid Nevada school psychologist license (required)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and counseling
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team member
  • Knowledgeable of current best practices in special education, mental health, and crisis response

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students needs
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support Response to Intervention (RtI) initiatives and help implement evidence-based strategies
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote student growth and well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with federal, state, and district policies
