Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (required)
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally competent, student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students learning and behavioral needs
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student mental health and well-being
- Facilitate crisis intervention, counseling, and short-term support as needed
- Promote a safe and inclusive school climate through direct and indirect services
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
