Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license (Kansas or eligibility for transfer)
  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Proficiency with psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral interventions, and IEP participation
  • Experience working in K-12 environments preferred
  • Strong communication, consultation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with students, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success and positive school climate
  • Implement evidence-based intervention plans and monitor student progress
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely records according to state and district guidelines
