Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting the mental health and educational growth of students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The position runs from July 30th through June 2nd, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas PSYCH license required
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist or in psychological services within educational settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and support diverse student needs across elementary and middle school ages

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological services to students in kindergarten through 8th grade
  • Administer evaluations, interpret results, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation to support students academic and emotional well-being
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations and school procedures
