Job Description

As an essential member of the school community, you'll provide comprehensive psychological services to children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Your role will involve a dynamic mix of daily responsibilities, including active participation in the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, facilitating problem-solving processes, and supporting students through IEP evaluations and related services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with children in an elementary school setting
  • Skill in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
  • Familiarity with the IEP process and special education services
  • Strong collaborative and communication abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological services to support student learning and emotional health
  • Participate in problem-solving, intervention planning, and crisis response activities
  • Conduct assessments for special education eligibility and develop appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and teams to create positive educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies

This assignment commences July 30th and runs through June 2nd, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The position is currently onsite, with consideration for virtual options if unfilled by the start date.
