This contract position places you at the heart of a collaborative school environment, allowing you to make meaningful contributions alongside dedicated educators and support staff.
As an essential member of the school community, you'll provide comprehensive psychological services to children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Your role will involve a dynamic mix of daily responsibilities, including active participation in the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, facilitating problem-solving processes, and supporting students through IEP evaluations and related services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children in an elementary school setting
- Skill in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Familiarity with the IEP process and special education services
- Strong collaborative and communication abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services to support student learning and emotional health
- Participate in problem-solving, intervention planning, and crisis response activities
- Conduct assessments for special education eligibility and develop appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and teams to create positive educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
This assignment commences July 30th and runs through June 2nd, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The position is currently onsite, with consideration for virtual options if unfilled by the start date.
