Job Description

This contract opportunity is for experienced School Psychologists to provide in-person assessment services in a Kansas City, KS area school district. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, to May 21, 2027, supporting students across grades K-12.

The role involves conducting psychological testing for students with intense disabilities, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or using assistive technology (AT) communication devices. The psychologist may travel between multiple school sites within the district to meet caseload demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological assessments for K-12 students with significant disabilities.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Utilize knowledge of assistive technology devices to effectively assess students communication needs.
  • Travel as needed between several campus locations to fulfill caseload requirements.
  • Participate in case discussions and provide recommendations for intervention and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with students with severe disabilities, including communication impairments.
  • Skill in administering standardized psychological tests and interpreting results.
  • Comfort with flexible work locations and travel between multiple sites.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with school teams.

Location: Kansas City, KS (multiple campuses)
