Step into an impactful role delivering vital support to students as a School Psychologist on a contract basis in the greater Chicago, IL area. Work between 7 and 16 hours per week, making a difference by providing essential assessment and evaluation services within school settings. Your expertise will support student success and foster a positive learning environment, ensuring every childs needs are addressed with care and professionalism.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (from an accredited program)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments, eligibility evaluations, and report writing
• Strong understanding of best practices in assessment, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral domains
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families
• Ability to manage a flexible, school-based schedule and work independently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for special education services
• Interpret and communicate evaluation results for eligibility meetings and IEP development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and behavior
• Maintain accurate records and up-to-date, compliant documentation
• Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding interventions and assessments
• Participate in relevant meetings as assigned to provide expertise in assessment and evaluation
