Job Description

This position, located near Orland Park, IL, provides the chance to make a real difference during the upcoming academic year from August through June. The role is part-time, with a weekly commitment of 7-16 hours at a single school site. Youll work closely with the IEP team, focusing on assessments, evaluations, and collaborative solutions for students in a charter school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist license required
  • Experience with school-based psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and IEP teams
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with a range of student age groups and diverse needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student psychological assessments and share findings with multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with the IEP team to help develop individualized educational strategies
  • Complete evaluations and assist in eligibility determinations for special education services
  • Obtain approval to work remotely for paperwork completion on occasion
  • Maintain thorough records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with district guidelines
