Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong background in administering psychological assessments and creating intervention plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families
  • Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with current best practices in interventions and data-driven decision making

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to design and monitor intervention strategies
  • Offer individual and group counseling addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations for student support
  • Assist in crisis prevention and intervention efforts within the school
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on social-emotional learning and behavior management
