Job Description

Empower students to succeed by providing critical support as a School Psychologist working with 3rd to 5th graders. In this rewarding, full-time onsite position near Orland Park, IL, you will collaborate closely with educators and families to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Youll make a real impact by conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and supporting the growth of each student within a welcoming school setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience or familiarity with the needs of elementary students, especially grades 3-5
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to conduct assessments, write reports, and recommend evidence-based interventions
  • Detail-oriented, compassionate, and reliable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and support students through psychological assessments and data collection
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration on student success plans
  • Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and guidance for students as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school procedures and policies
