Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current license or credentials required for School Psychologists in Illinois
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Proficient in administering psychological and educational assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies addressing students learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Support crisis intervention and response efforts within the school community
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate through consultation and training
