Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Current license or credentials required for School Psychologists in Illinois
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Proficient in administering psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies addressing students learning and behavioral needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for interventions
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Support crisis intervention and response efforts within the school community
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school climate through consultation and training
