What were looking for:

  • Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in educational settings preferred
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and community resources
  • Commitment to advocating for students mental health and educational success

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments district-wide
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) meetings
  • Offer counseling and intervention services for students with academic, behavioral, or emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that address students individual needs
  • Lead and contribute to IEP teams, ensuring compliance and advocacy for students
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support when necessary
