Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting an elementary caseload for the upcoming academic year. This onsite role allows you to provide crucial psychological services to students, faculty, and families, helping to foster a positive educational environment close to Omaha, NE.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Nebraska
- Experience with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to develop and implement interventions and supports
- Collaborative, adaptable, and dedicated to student success
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Develop and participate in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students learning and social-emotional growth
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring
- Assist in implementing school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and state regulations
Position Details:
- Contract duration: August 31, 2026 May 27, 2027
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, onsite only
- Focused on supporting an elementary-level caseload
